Saw - Maintenance Supervisor (Contract)

The SAW - Maintenance Supervisor (Contract) will lead and direct skilled trades and/or production team members in all aspects of activities at the Brampton Assembly Plant.
The SAW - Maintenance Supervisor (Contract) will be responsible for addressing throughput, run to run, and downtime related issues with equipment in a production environment; coordinating activities according to Stellantis Production Way (SPW) standards (particularly the Autonomous and Professional Maintenance Pillar activities) while impacting the overall equipment effectiveness, through a systematic approach of planning and executing key maintenance enablers and coordinating all activities utilizing the TMS system.

Basic Qualifications

• Must possess a working knowledge of advanced technical problem-solving tools
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical/engineering discipline required; or Journeyperson status with minimum of FIVE (5) years manufacturing experience; or minimum of 10 years of technical/manufacturing experience
• Ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the Plant from hourly represented employees to Senior Leadership as required
• Goal oriented and a self-starter and ability to lead and manage in a team-based structure
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
• Must be eligible to work in Canada
• Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RS Logic, PLC-5, Control Logics, Allen Bradley Drive Systems, Fanuc, machine installation, robotic automation and application
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Green Belt/ Red X/ Six Sigma Training
• Previous experience understanding a Collective Agreement
• Demonstrated ability and passion to coach/mentor/develop team members
• Strong background in LEAN manufacturing systems
• Strong background in LEAN manufacturing systems
• Previous manufacturing supervisory experience
• Previous experience working in a union environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
