Maintenance Supervisor Jobs

One of our manufacturing clients is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for their plant in Brantford, ON for their facility.

Shift - Night

Requirements

• Understands and promotes Maintenance department as a dedicated service to Operations
• Maintains inventory of spare parts, supplies and materials for critical maintenance repairs;
• Track and trend work order performance using CMMS and ensure the availability of parts and appropriate tools;
• Provide oversight to ensure that plant equipment and maintenance systems function in an efficient & safe manner;
• Leadership/Coaching of maintenance personnel through pro-active communication, employee involvement, participation, individual feedback;
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the day-to-day activities of the mechanical maintenance team and provide guidance for troubleshooting and planned downtime and emergency response activities;
• Administer preventative maintenance program to Reduce equipment downtime and improve machine efficiencies;
• Ensures compliance with Health and Safety objectives while meeting maintenance performance targets.

Qualifications

• Pulp and paper industry is considered an asset.
• Must be willing and available to support operations within in a 24/7 operation.
• Post Secondary education in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Millwright or Electrician trades license, or related discipline, complimented with 5+ years of proven supervisor experience of engaging a team of senior tradespeople
