HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR
Lynx Energy is a private, intermediate gas production company with a key focus on gas‐weighted assets in Alberta. Lynx Energy is an Operator of Choice, with production from our 6000+ wells, exceeding 19,000 BOE per day.
Lynx Energy has an excellent opportunity for a Human Resources Administrator.
Reporting directly to the Manager, Human Resources/People & Culture, this role provides support and assistance for all Human Resources functions.
Role and Core Responsibilities of the Human Resources Administrator:
·Provides direct support and assistance to the Manager, HR/People & Culture in all areas of HR functions, Payroll and Recruitment
·Assists the HR Manager with the Company’s People & Culture initiatives and special projects
·Support and manage HR related IT changes and setup requests
·Manage and maintain human resource data and records; maintains an electronic filing and retrieval system for past and current records
·Submit benefit enrollments, changes and terminations to service providers
·Provide internal customer service and support for all employees of the company
·Support payroll with submission of pay period entries to ADP Comprehensive Services
·Assist with employee onboarding, orientation and development cycle
·Assist with policy and procedure creation
·Maintain employee vacation, recognition and rewards programs; oversee inventory of company swag, including review and proposals for new items
·Promote a positive organizational culture that engages and motivates employees through communication initiatives, employee participation events; employee recognition and rewards
Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
·Minimum five (5) years experience in an HR Administration role within the Oil & Gas Industry
·Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
·Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
·Ability to handle confidential information ethically, with integrity and professionalism
·Strong computer skills with demonstrated experience of Microsoft 365
·Ability to work independently, find independent solutions to problems and anticipate organizational needs
·Experience in ADP WorkForceNow would be an asset
