Hr Services Director (Human Resources)

The YMCA of Greater Richmond's Human Resources (HR) team is seeking a detail-oriented, personable HR generalist to enter and maintain employee information in our Human Resources information System (HRIS) and assist with various facets of Human Resources services for the Association. This is an entry level position, and ideal for a candidate with a recent degree in Human Resources or a related field.

Description
This position will provide leadership in HR services to YMCA branches, including on-boarding new staff, accurate and timely processing of staff files, efficient management of branch payroll processes, maintaining background checks, childcare forms, and support with part-time staff performance reviews. The Director may also assist with facets of recruitment and training for assigned branches.
The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in a related field or one year of HR or administrative experience strongly preferred. Attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information in a timely, professional manner are essential.  Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, is necessary. This position requires the ability to travel between YMCA branch locations in the Greater Richmond area (by personal vehicle), and a flexible schedule, which may include occasional evenings and weekends.
