Hotel Warehouse Manager - Alberta

We are assisting our client, a 5- star boutique Ski Resort located in the Banff area of Alberta, Canada with about 100 rooms and food & beverage facilities open 12 months a year, seeks an excellent Warehouse Manager reporting directly to the General Manager of the Resort.

This position is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of receiving, storage, delivery and control of all materials and items that are handled through the warehouse and loading dock at this property.

You will be responsible to ensure efficient operation and control the movement of inventory and assets to various outlets throughout this hospitality facility. Previous warehouse experience handling the receiving and storage for food & beverage in a hospitality setting and environment is preferred.

Some Requirements/Responsibilities:

Have solid experience hiring, training, motivating, scheduling and the management of warehouse and loading dock employees.

Ensures the warehouse is maintained and comply with health, safety regulations of the company and ensures safety methods, practices and programs are implemented and are always maintained.

Oversee the movement of items from the warehouse and loading dock to various outlets throughout the property

Excellent hands on experience and knowledge of warehouse management software and databases

Must possess good verbal and written communication skills, and have a strong attention to detail.

Must be well organized, be able to multitask, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

This property will offer an outstanding starting salary of $85,000 plus accommodation, relocation as well as excellent company benefits.
