ROLE SUMMARY:
We are recruiting for a Sales Representative to cover Southern Alberta. This is a full time position at the ground floor of a rapidly growing alcohol distribution agency. We are focused on the development of this role with a huge potential for growth within The Beverage Collective.
This position operates within a diverse market and focuses on the ownership of annual territory planning, individual customer planning, promotional evaluation and customer sell-back, competitive intelligence gathering, and opportunity identification. Successful candidates should have a passion for working with others in a client-facing environment, and a strong desire for a long-term, sales focused, growing career within The Beverage Collective.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Building strong business relationships with key customers and consumer groups
- Ensuring execution excellence of National and customized programming
- Delivering territory volume, share, distribution, and margin contribution targets by total territory, sales channel and brand within a specific geography through leveraging commercial resources (brands, programs, systems etc.)
- Manage inventory, event coordination, shipping materials and working with promotional agencies
- Identifying and leveraging business opportunities (i.e. new customers)
- Execution of call cycle and administrative duties (routine management)
- Planning and executing consumer programming and sales standards across all channels (Retail, On-Premise, Community)
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Previous experience in field sales or packaged goods an asset
- Excellent relationship building and follow-up skills
- Budget management experience, analytical skills, strong business acumen
- Computer proficiency and aptitude, specifically with Excel and PowerPoint
- University Degree preferred
- Strong impact and influential abilities
