DMC Recruitment Group is working with a leading building materials manufacturer to hire a Territory Sales Representative for the Alberta region. This is a leading company with a well-established reputation and Client following. This region represents a high-growth opportunity for further development and penetration within the AB market

Our Client: Our client is a leading building materials - automatic door manufacturer that provides specialty items for commercial application. With a strong brand/reputation and a great line of products, they are able to provide their customers with exceptional service and great quality products.

The Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales opportunities with both existing clients and building new relationships with new customers throughout the AB region. This job requires a strong self-motivated individual who is a hunter who can commit to traveling throughout the AB region as required. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for pulling demand through the local distribution location, and for working with their team on a targeted plan to expand and most effectively service the region. The OSR will work directly with customers who will include General Contractors, Glazing Contractors, Architects and Designers, to provide exceptional products with exceptional service.

The Candidate

• Must possess the ability to present as a professional with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• High School Diploma Required
• Comfortable with cold-calling, possesses a balanced miner/hunter sales mentality, and can work towards targets
• 3+ years’ experience in an outside sales position, ideally with a network within the AB Region
• Knowledge of the Construction Industry is key
• Organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and an intense desire to work in the automatic door business are a must.
