REPORTS TO: COO
FTE STATUS: 1.0 FTE
HOURS: 40 paid hours per week. Regular office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
PAY RATE: Base + performance-based commission.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
- This position’s primary focus is to generate revenue by selling TracxTMS transportation management software to potential customers across North America.
- This role requires strong interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and a results-driven mindset to successfully navigate the sales process and close deals.
- The Sales Representative plays a vital role in driving business growth and building long-term customer relationships.
- This position is highly collaborative, working closely with the CEO, COO, and developers to understand customer needs, provide solutions, and meet sales targets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Time spent = 50%: Consultative selling, sales negotiation, and closing deals.
Time spent = 20%: Relationship management and upselling opportunities.
Time spent = 20%: Sales reporting and collaboration.
Time spent = 10%: Coordination with internal teams.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build customer relationships, conduct product demos, and close deals to meet sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Maintain strong customer relationships, provide ongoing support, and manage sales records.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date sales records and client information through the use of CRM tools and tracking systems.
- Identify potential customers and generate leads for transportation management software sales across North America.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure a smooth and successful sales process.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Resilience and ability to handle rejection and setbacks in a competitive sales environment.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of sales targets and goals and a strong drive and motivation to achieve and exceed sales quotas.
- Experience in sales with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts and effectively communicate product features and value proposition.
- Ability to deliver compelling sales pitches, conduct product demonstrations, and negotiate effectively.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies, sales cycles, and lead generation techniques.
- Excellent listening and problem-solving skills to understand customer requirements, address challenges, propose appropriate solutions, and tailor sales conversations accordingly.
- Attention to detail in maintaining accurate sales records and managing sales pipelines.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple leads, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and CRM applications.
- Experience in relevant fields (technology, trucking, transportation, etc.) or with selling software solutions is an asset.
