As a Technical Sales Specialist, you are responsible for:

• Analyze data and communicate results through presentation and documentation to various stakeholders
• May participate in customer interface with team leader
• Plan and perform testing in a laboratory environment – work on product formulations, sample preparation, and testing of oil and water samples to support technical service projects in a timely manner
• Compliance with all HSE and quality protocols and requirements
• Ability to work with diverse cross-functional teams and take projects from inception to completion
• Follow standardized test procedures and protocols
• Support both technical service and new product/new technology development projects
• Handle special projects as assigned
• Ability to solve problems, work independently and be self-motivated

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Please note that this role will require you to work with H2S and High pressure testing
• 5+ years experience providing corrosion expertise to oil and gas clients (preferred)
• Must be willing and able to present information to various levels of the organization and customers in a clear and concise manner
• Must be at an intermediate to advanced level with MS Excel, WORD, and PowerPoint
• Have Bachelor’s degree in a Science or Engineering discipline (Master’s degree preferred)
• Previous experience with Technical Writing
• 5+ years experience working in the Oil and Gas industry in a R&D environment (preferred)
• Must be willing and able to work in a lab on a regular basis
• Strong background in Chemistry or Engineering, (preferred)
• Proven ability to work with diverse cross-functional teams across the organization
• 5+ years experience working in a Lab, Science weighted environment, or Technical Field Work
• Previous experience with Gamry Electrochemical software would be an advantage
• Ability to manage data sets and interpret, analyze results, and present findings to internal & external customers
