Head - Portfolio Analytics & Insights - Financial Services

Experience: 8 years+ in Bank/ NBFC
Education: Post graduate degree in Statistics/ Economics/ Engineering or MBA
Background
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who seek a challenging career in analytics. The individual should be outcome oriented with excellent foundation in business analytics in BFSI. The right candidate should have the ability to understand dynamics of business, develop data-driven solutions to address business problems and independently manage end-to-end project communication with business partners.

• Ability to perform root cause analysis and make recommendations for sales productivity and portfolio performance optimization
• Strong understanding of credit scorecards and related strategies is an advantage
• Portfolio performance review and scorecard optimization
• High proficiency in SAS or Python
• Actively interface with stakeholders across credit, distribution and other departments for effective analysis and actionable insights
• Experience of close interaction with key business stakeholders
• Institutionalize a program method for running and evaluating campaigns
• The right candidate is a person with strong foundations in data science, and at the same time with deep understanding of business dynamics in retail lending.
• Develop sciences around propensity-risk based target selection & pricing
• Project experience in policy analytics/ campaign management/ pricing/ cross sell/ collections strategy across all business lines
• Prior working experience in retail lending business is a pre-requisite; experience in SME lending would be an advantage
• Analyze cash flow information from diverse alternate sources and generate insights which translate to business recommendations
• Establish the advantage of using data science in various facets of SME lending and incubate/ install practices such as the following according to the need of the business
