The Company

The Client is a boutique travel company seeking an experienced Operations specialist to join our dynamic and diverse team. As a Group Operations Specialist, you will work as an integral member of the Operations team, planning, coordinating, and executing multi-destination itineraries for groups ranging in size from 10-350+ people.

The Job!

You will be responsible for planning and executing itineraries as well as responding to the Sales team for proposals and quotes. In addition to this, your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the lead administrator of Peak 15 SaaS software within the organization
• Respond promptly to concerns and questions both externally and internally
• Facilitating group airport departures (occasional, in-person) and provide ancillary support as required
• Preparing pre-departure material for groups and FIT in an accurate and time-sensitive manner
• Planning and executing assigned group tour programs
• Ensuring the ongoing accuracy of assigned trip files
• Planning and delivering travel itineraries for group and leisure clients including managing bookings, deposit schedule, and cancellations

What you bring to the job

You are someone with a passion for the travel industry and Proficient in Microsoft 365 and have the following qualifications:

• Detail-oriented and exceptional organizational skills
• French, Italian and/or Spanish an asset, but not required
• 3 years of Operations experience in B2B or B2C, MICE travel industry
• Proficiency in Peak 15 SaaS software and Unmapped itinerary experience platform an asset
• Knowledge of GDS System preferred
• Enthusiastic and professional attitude with great communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines in a very fast-paced environment
• TICO Travel Agent certification (or willing to attain)
• Expertise on Europe, Caribbean, Central America preferred
