Finance Center Of Excellence - Analytics & Insights

The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Visualization and Analytics & Insights member to join our team. This role will be responsible for defining, developing, and supporting our finance analytics and insights capabilities. You will be working in an innovative, solution focused way, bringing your Finance subject matter expertise into an agile team approach, partnering closely with various functions in our global organization. You need to be well versed in exploration of data and analytics, and bringing powerful and action-driving insights to our Finance organization, blending our data with our core technology platform that includes SAP Analytics Cloud and Tableau, amongst other supporting platforms. You will be collaborating across Finance and beyond to ensure we architect and execute in building a sustainable data foundation and insight generating strategy for the Finance organization and our business stakeholders.

This role is for a Digital for Finance team member with extensive experience and subject matter expertise in Analytics in Finance in the Pharmaceutical or similar industry, with a comprehensive understanding of key financial processes and systems, organizational needs, and with a value focused approach.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Working closely with cross-functional teams, including data product owners, data analysts, and business stakeholders to define product requirements and drive the development of finance visualization capabilities
• Collaborating with the organization's data governance team to ensure that finance data products comply with data security and privacy policies
• Leading the development of finance analytics and insights products, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the needs of the organization
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in the data visualization and insight generation products and recommending changes to improve the organization's finance data strategy
• Defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for finance data products to measure their effectiveness and impact
• Developing a deep understanding of the organization's financial data needs and identifying opportunities to leverage data to drive business outcomes

Requirements:

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Data & Analytics project implementation experiences that exploit the full capabilities (discover, design, implement and optimization)
• Experience in the areas of core financial forecasting activities and processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
• Fluent and current on analytics tools and data visualization trends
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, data analytics, or a related field
• Experience in leading key projects as either a project lead or project manager
• Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices
• Experience with finance data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred
• Technology and Data savviness, passionate about latest technology trends and data driven mindset, innovative and curious mindset, with a passion for learning and teaching
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw insights that drive business outcomes
