- Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of a new, hospital-wide, Human Resources Information System project
- Deliver strategic interpretation of workforce information in order to inform planning approaches and decisions
- Work together with colleagues in People Services and Workforce Planning & Projects to generate new key performance insights for the hospital and stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Manager, Workforce Planning & Projects to execute corporate deliverables in a fast-paced healthcare organization and to support achievement of the hospital’s strategic plan
- Complete advanced analytics and modelling of workforce data using complex data sets
- Educate stakeholders on workforce data and planning approach, including recommendations to maximize performance results and enhance quality of care
- Support the collection and reporting of new workforce data requirements, which may include stakeholder engagement, communication, technical specifications, submissions and performance metric development
- Work with internal Decision Support and Business Intelligence teams to leverage tools, technologies and best practices
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR and workforce analytics, including workforce planning
- Advanced proficiency in using quantitative, statistical, and report writing tools (Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, SAS, Regression analysis) and reporting tools/systems/databases required
- Excellent problem solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask
- Demonstrated proficiency in advanced quantitative and statistical analysis required
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Effective interpersonal skills with range of stakeholders including clinicians, leaders, internal and external client groups
- Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science or Human Resources, paired with 3 to 5 years of related progressive experience required, preferably in a health care environment
- Open-minded and eager to learn
- Familiarity with various business and healthcare information systems (Epic, Meditech, etc.) preferred
