Here’s what you will get to do:


  • Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of a new, hospital-wide, Human Resources Information System project
  • Deliver strategic interpretation of workforce information in order to inform planning approaches and decisions
  • Work together with colleagues in People Services and Workforce Planning & Projects to generate new key performance insights for the hospital and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Manager, Workforce Planning & Projects to execute corporate deliverables in a fast-paced healthcare organization and to support achievement of the hospital’s strategic plan
  • Complete advanced analytics and modelling of workforce data using complex data sets
  • Educate stakeholders on workforce data and planning approach, including recommendations to maximize performance results and enhance quality of care
  • Support the collection and reporting of new workforce data requirements, which may include stakeholder engagement, communication, technical specifications, submissions and performance metric development
  • Work with internal Decision Support and Business Intelligence teams to leverage tools, technologies and best practices


Here’s what you need to have:


  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR and workforce analytics, including workforce planning
  • Advanced proficiency in using quantitative, statistical, and report writing tools (Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, SAS, Regression analysis) and reporting tools/systems/databases required
  • Excellent problem solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask
  • Demonstrated proficiency in advanced quantitative and statistical analysis required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills with range of stakeholders including clinicians, leaders, internal and external client groups
  • Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science or Human Resources, paired with 3 to 5 years of related progressive experience required, preferably in a health care environment
  • Open-minded and eager to learn
  • Familiarity with various business and healthcare information systems (Epic, Meditech, etc.) preferred


Location


We offer employees, in roles that are conducive to remote work, the flexibility and the right mix of remote and in-office work (approximately 80/20). Acknowledging that the primary works space will be remote work from home, but there will be times when on-site presence is appropriate just as there will be times when on-site presence may not be possible.


The expectation is that remote work locations, as part of the Flex First program, will be in the employee’s place of residence, and adhere to all THP policies and procedures, with special consideration towards privacy. Since employees should be available to return to the workplace with 24 hours’ notice, remote work outside of the province or country is not acceptable.
