Fdc Business Support Analyst

The Opportunity:

The Field Data Capture (FDC) team has an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Analyst who specializes in Field Data Capture systems and Business Process Management.The FDC team supports approximately 3,700 operations users of PM Suite and Energy Components.In addition to frontline support they ensure the systems are operating correctly, including upstream and downstream integrations, and are key participants in solving business issues and continuous improvement initiatives.You will make your mark by supporting technological initiatives that increase data capture efficiencies within the organization.

Key Accountabilities:

• Liaise between the business and technical teams to ensure the holistic vision of the project is achieved
• Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
• Support key business initiatives by managing projects including developing project plans, monitoring performance and quantifying and reporting benefits
• Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies
• Implement effective solutions by evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements and identify areas for improvement
• Work with the business teams to document detailed AS/IS and TO/BE processes while involving necessary stakeholders

• This is a safety sensitive position as there may be periodic travel to field offices

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong business acumen, ability to analyze complex problems while thinking critically and strategically
• Working knowledge of the following is considered an asset:
• Experience with process improvement, project management tools and related methodologies would be considered an asset
• Exceptional interpersonal and written communication with the ability to document current and to-be business processes clearly and concisely
• Familiarity with various platforms including Windows, UNIX, & Linux
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience with Energy Components
• 5+ years of relevant oil & gas experience
• A post-secondary degree in Technology or Business
• The ability to collaborate with stakeholders to produce acceptable solutions
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
