Overview:
You are analytical and methodical about data management and a determined problem solver looking for an entry level role with a growing organization. You are comfortable working in a multi-faceted role that allows you to work closely with a variety of ARTA staff.
You will support and optimize ARTA’s existing information systems and provide input into future revisions and development of new systems.This position will be responsible for assisting the Sr. Business Analyst in the administration of multiple integrated information systems. These systems include but are not limited to the following: Microsoft SQL Server, Report Builder, BC365, CRM365, Office365, Sharepoint, Docuware, PowerBI and BusinessConnect/Ring Central.

What you will do:
- Analyze the design of current systems and applicable business models.
- Optimize existing databases and recommend improvements for performance efficiency, while ensuring integrity, consistency, security, and privacy.
- Participate in design and architecture to support application development projects, working with business users to confirm and validate the results.
- Provide support and guidance to outside application developers.
- Perform the extraction, transformation, and loading of data.
- Support the business with testing and training on application resolutions and enhancements, assisting with the development of test plans and test scripts.
- Provide end-user support coverage by responding to user queries, trouble shooting systems, and solving technical problems, as required.
- Provide operational reporting as required.
- Logical and physical data modeling for enterprise data warehouse.
- Provide data analysis to inform business decisions and provide business insights.
- Provide application support by analyzing problems.
- Ensure the integrity and quality of systems data.
- Research, source and support the implementation of new systems.
- Contribute to the ARTA team by performing other duties as assigned.
What you will have:
- Experience as a Database Developer and/or Report Developer.
- Experience with Microsoft Report Builder, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
- Experience working with or an understanding of Smart Connect.
- 1 – 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
- Experience with or exposure to Microsoft SQL Server (SSIS, SQL interpretation tools, T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, indexes, scripting, database tuning, etc.).
- Experience working with Office365, BC365, Dynamics CRM and SharePoint.
- Understanding of multidimensional data stores and data modelling.
- The ability to write a query that does ALMOST anything.
