Insight Global is looking for a SAP Data Analyst to join a large utility company in the Calgary area for a 12-month contract. The successful candidate must work hybrid (in office Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) and will be responsible for providing the Canadian Gas Operation organization with excellent service and expertise in aligning Engineering work directives and requirements to the equipment inventory in SAP's Plant Maintenance module; from this, Work Orders are generated automatically for the Field Operations Regional Teams to execute. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

What you'll do:

• Leverage existing organizational processes and procedures, and work to ensure continuous improvement;
• Identify SAP master-data issues, make recommendations and implement solutions to optimize processes and procedures;
• Work with multi-disciplinary Program teams throughout CGO, and our key support organizations, to ensure alignment of Safety, Health and Engineering work directives into Work Order generation for work executed across the field organization;
• Participate in the enhancement process for SAP improvements, notably for business requirements gathering and user acceptance testing
• Perform timely data entry of Equipment and Maintenance Program information in SAP's Plant Maintenance module;

Must-haves:

• Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel;
• Must have hands-on experience in managing data in SAP with a strong desire to learn MDM and PM
• Ability to prioritize and effectively manage numerous complex assignments and processes several simultaneously
• 3 years experience as a Data Analyst
• Minimum 2 years of hands on SAP experience;
• Ability and commitment to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment;

Plusses:

• SAP Quality Management (QM), Material Management (MM) and Power BI experience is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of oil & gas field operating facilities equipment, SAP Plant Maintenance module, and related maintenance best practices
