PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Design-to-Deliver (D2D) Business Transformation Services Analyst I is responsible for gathering requirements, user acceptance testing of D2D systems, producing complex reporting, and driving resolution to business production issues to make our D2D systems and technology better. As experience is gained, assignments will become more varied and complex and the level of independent action will increase within the established guidelines. In this role, you will engage and collaborate with Business Stakeholders, and IS teams to identify opportunities to utilize or improve technology to enable streamlined processes by acknowledging and understanding people, process and technology. The role supports various D2D systems within Canadian Pacific Kansas City including TYES, Fastway, Order Entry, Vista, Nexus AIR, PTM, SAP Transportation Management, Customer Portal and rail industry shipment management applications. This position will require providing service, building and maintaining relationships with the business and functioning as a team player.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Support of all D2D systems including Train Yard Execution System , Precision Terminal Management, Fastway, SAP TM, Customer Portal and other rail industry shipment management applications
• Work with business teams to understand and document business process requirements; analyzing and validating for automation feasibility; assisting the core automation team in creating the business case
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with stakeholders effectively in verbal and written formats
• System requirement identification and documentation analysis
• Gather requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, design thinking, task and workflow analysis
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities and manage customer expectations
• Perform On-call 24/7 business support as part of a regular scheduled rotation
• Build knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers; Solve a range of straightforward problems; analyze possible solutions using standard procedures; Receive a moderate level of guidance and direction
• Plan and facilitate workshops to identify and validate requirements with IS and business stakeholders in support of projects and opportunities.
• Review and analyze system problems to identify solutions or recommendations
• Perform testing, identify issues with respect to solution performance, communicate required changes to development team and track resolution;

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in g athering requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, design thinking, task and workflow analysis
• Experience with process mapping and / or project management methodology
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
