We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Communications Advisor to join our growing Marketing team in Toronto. In this role, you work closely with our executives to understand their messaging and communication style and produce high-quality content that reflects their voice and vision. You will develop and maintain a deep understanding of our industry, company, and audience to ensure that written content is relevant, accurate, and engaging. What you’ll do here:

• Conduct research to gather relevant information on various topics that executives need to address, such as market trends, industry insights, and customer preferences and write content in the executives’ voice and style
• Manage social media profiles by regularly updating branding and profile content as well as write and edit social media content on topics as requested by senior executives
• Support the execution of C-suite-level strategic media engagements. Craft well-researched key messages/talking points to facilitate briefings and prep materials
• Monitor and track engagement metrics and provide regular reports on performance and effectiveness
• Develop a content strategy aligned with executives’ brand, vision, and business goals
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Human Resources, and Public Relations to ensure that all communication efforts align with the company's overall objectives
• Stay up to date with social media algorithm changes and best practices
• Collaborate with executives to create compelling written content that effectively communicates their ideas, vision, and strategies while gaining a deep understanding of their expertise and messaging house
• Review and edit content for quality, accuracy, and alignment with executives’ messaging and publish and distribute approved content through relevant channels
• Write influential thought leadership content for executives, showcasing an understanding of their expertise, translating complex ideas into accessible language, and effectively aligning with their messaging and brand

You need to have:

• Exceptional note-taking skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work comfortably across all levels of an organization, including with C-suite leadership
• A bachelor's or master's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in executive, or business marketing communications
• Strong collaborative and communication skills, actively engaging with team members, and demonstrating cooperation and supportiveness while fostering a positive and inclusive team environment
• A deep understanding of communication techniques, strategies, media relations, and social media
• Excellent written communication with high attention to detail
