This position is available for the winter session, tethered to our Mississauga office.

We’re looking for Canadian marketing students to help us bring the Shark and Ninja brand to life through our Canadian websites and via earned media and influencer relations.

Your internship will allow you to gain a deep understanding of our customer’s and brand’s promotional strategy and how that translates to site merchandising with the right content. This position also exposes you to understanding good UX design for functionality, navigation and helping to improve our main KPIs.

Specifically, you’ll be responsible for utilizing our site merch platform for weekly updates that reflect our promotions as well as any site merch changes needed. You would also collaborate with the broader Canadian team to gather data and adjust our site merch, content and creative efforts as needed.

You will also spend time working both with our inhouse PR team as well as our agency on media and influencer campaigns as we launch new products into the Canadian market.

Attributes and Skills:

• Comfortable working with budgets and numbers, with an ability to organize data, interpret metrics and identify trends
• Competency with MS Office, intermediate proficiency with Excel required
• Demonstrated skills in problem solving, analytical and critical thinking and proactive decision making.
• Strong interest in learning about site merchandising best practices and promotional strategy
• Intermediate French considered an asset but not required.
• Must be proactive, highly detail oriented and organized and possess strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task and deadline oriented
• Passionate with a positive “can-do” attitude
• Outstanding problem resolution and follow up skills to effectively manage deliverables
• Excellent written and grammar skills

Education and Experience:

• Working towards a degree in: Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or Business
• Familiarity with GA360, Listrak CRM, Canva an asset
