SALES AND MARKETING INTERN, CANCARD INC (Bilingual – English and French)

Location: Markham, ON.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Cancard Inc is looking to hire multiple Sales and Marketing Interns to assist in sales and marketing activities to help launch multiple new products in the next 3-6 months. Interns may perform a variety of tasks, such as conducting market research, generating sales leads, making cold calls, creating content, managing email campaigns, updating records, attending meetings, and helping organize events.

Cancard, Inc is a multi-vertical Canadian technology business operating in Toronto since 1989. We started as a financial card design, printing, and mailing service provider and have since then expanded our core competencies in various areas for healthcare, industrial, government and corporate customers. We provide a competitive portfolio of products medication management, carts, patient fall monitoring, asset tracking, secure identity solutions, marking and tracking solutions and more.

This position is a great opportunity for fresh graduates to gain real world experience by taking on crucial marketing and sales projects and working under the guidance of marketing managers, sales managers, and senior leaders. Right candidate will have direct exposure to customers the US and Canada markets with potential for long-term full-time positions.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Market Research:

oConducting desktop market research or gathering information through surveys or by speaking to clients and staff.

oIdentifying business opportunities and potential customers.

oDeveloping tools and methods for collecting data such as surveys, opinion polls or questionnaires.

Marketing Analytics:

oCreating graphic representations of data and translating complex research into easily readable content for stakeholders and other departments.

oPreparing sales and marketing proposals and presentations based on company needs and goals.

oSupporting the sales and marketing team in daily administrative tasks such as updating databases, managing calendars, and organizing files.

Marketing - Product Promotions:

oAssisting in sales and marketing promotional activities.

oCreate, post, and manage social media accounts. Monitoring and managing the company’s social media platforms, adjusting outreach tactics as needed

oDesign product brochures in French and English.

oDevelop promotional content for websites and marketing campaigns.

Sales - Market Development:

oConduct product demos, presentations, and webinars for customers.

oDevelop lead pipeline through cold calls and validate customer requirements based on requests submitted from Chatbot, and dedicated sales emails.

oMeasuring consumer satisfaction with products or services and providing feedback to the manager.

oHelping organize sales and marketing events such as trade shows, webinars, or product launches.

oManage customer quote requests and queries submitted via chat or website.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·BBA, MBA - candidates with some work experience preferred but freshers and students are welcome to apply.

·Strong desire to learn and build a career in marketing and sales.

·Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Canadian French.

·Candidates with some work experience at any level preferred.

·Strong working knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

·Basic experience in using CRM and other sales, marketing, design technologies and tools would be beneficial.
