Creative, Social + Content Jobs

The Creative, Social & Content role is part of the creative department at Academy. Our social creatives are the central engine that inspires and moves our social accounts forward. The person who’s right for this role lives, breathes, and advocates for social, and understands how to show up in brand collateral, IRL, imagery, and beyond to amplify social media presence for brands.

On a day-to-day basis, the Creative, Social & Content will be responsible for:

• Additional responsibilities as required.
• Preparing, scheduling, and owning social media content calendars, inclusive of concept decks, copywriting, visuals, hashtag strategy, etc.
• Discovering and stay on top of the latest trends, innovations, and features within the social media space, as well as within the industries our clients operate in
• Presenting to clients as needed
• Collaborating with creative leadership to come up with new, cutting-edge concepts that translate into social media content and overarching brand activities
• Staying abreast of relevant influencer talent and understanding the world of UGC and talent partnerships
• Bringing an aesthetic eye to the table and confident content creation skills (TikToks, IG reels, carousels, etc)
• Using Strategist’s research and insights to make informed ideas surrounding creative that works across various marketing channels, through a social-first lens
• Building performance reports in accordance with deadlines
• Working alongside a community manager to ensure we’re monitoring the wants and needs of our audiences and the always-evolving cultural landscapes our brand partners play in
• Leading, briefing, and coordinating external partnerships with content creators

The Creative, Social & Content will also regularly demonstrate the following:

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: $65-75K annually, commensurate with experience. This role sits at a Level 2 on our Career Levels.

Location: Toronto-based hybrid role.

Vacation - All staff at Sophomore receive:

• Additional 2 weeks off over the December/January studio closure for the holiday season
• 3 weeks of vacation per year
