Job Description
Contract Executive Assistant role in Burlington
Are you a corporate office administrator that has experience working closely with C level executives? Do you have the innate ability to multitask and have an eclectic skill set that allows you to accomplish a variety of tasks? If so, this role is for you!
We are urgently recruiting for a contract Executive Assistant in the Burlington area. This full time position is forecast for one month with subject to be extended based on the employer’s requirements. Daily tasks include correspondence and task assignment by the CEO, meeting scheduling and process, voicemail delivery, filing, consolidating, creating packages, some front desk correspondence, and all other general administrative duties.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience with corporate administration or executive assistance.

Advantages
  • $25-$30/hr
  • 1 month contract with possibility of extension
  • Great location in South Burlington
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm with a half hour lunch and two 15 minute breaks
Responsibilities
  • Researching and presenting data
  • Ad hoc administrative and executive assistant style duties
  • Correspondence and task assignment by the CEO
  • All other general administrative duties
  • Travel to the Hamilton location (vehicle provided)
  • Voicemail delivery
  • Some front desk correspondence
  • Filing, consolidating, and creating packages
  • Meeting scheduling and set up
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Windows, including MS Word, EXCEL, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent management, time-management, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to meet multiple and/or unexpected deadlines in a demanding environment
  • Sound judgment regarding confidential and sensitive matters
  • Ability to work with a broad range of people, including Board members, colleagues of the CEO/Chairman, and others
  • G Driver’s license required
  • Strong communication background to manage the complexity of the role
  • Comfortable with Project Management processes and acumen
  • Due to the confidentiality of the work, the functions of this position should be performed in a private office location
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Corporate Administration
  • A background in Communications is ideal
  • Previous experience working with and managing teams
  • Ability to present data in a concise and well-written manner
  • Possess strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform, and take ownership of the position, as well as to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Ability to provide stability across multiple teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent writing, editing, grammatical, organizational, and research skills
