Responsibilities:

As a member of Siemens Canada Communications team, this is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the business and build our brand.

• As part of the Content and Operations team, will create internal content to promote and support Siemens Canada’s Communications initiatives. Canadian editor for Siemens World, our internal online news platform – creating, editing, posting.
• Management, implementation, training and reporting for the Siemens Canada Impact for All Portal – this is Siemens Canada’s online portal for all donations and volunteering activities
• Responsible for organization, promotion and execution of charity events
• Responsible for liaising, managing and execution with the charities
• Content and Events
• Responsible for providing guidance and reviewing the Siemens brand and its logo in execution
• Responsible for updating and execution of CASL training every 2-3 years
• Brand steward for Siemens Canada:
• Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
• Manages and updates the Siemens Canada Corporate Presentation
• CASL steward for Siemens Canada:
• Responsible for strategy, planning and implementation of Siemens Canada’s CSR nationally
• Responsible for managing and execution of budget
• As part of the Content and Operations team, will help to manage, execute and support Siemens Canada’s Communications led events like our annual Siemens Canada Business Conference, townhalls, our Siemens Canada Excellence Awards and other internal events in conjunction with the team.
• Governance
• Governance owner for the Siemens Canada brand and Siemens’ compliance on the Canada Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL)
• Responsible for providing guidance on CASL
• Management of our Impact Committee, national committee comprised of CSR representatives across the Siemens Canada locations

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, Business or relevant field essential
• Experience in CSR and volunteer management is required
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office tools, Adobe Acrobat Tools, social media
• Digitally savvy
• Bilingualism English and French is an asset
• Over 5 years of successful experience in marketing and communications
• Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Extremely organized and self-driven
• Experience working in a large matrix organization preferred
• Experience managing indirect teams and driving together to results
• Excellent people skills and a strong teamwork attitude
