POSITION
Mission:
The Marketing & Event Coordinator role plays an integral part in the planning and execution of marketing programs with the LCBO and On-Trade Partners as well as in the organization of brand events. This position is an opportunity to build a dynamic skill set and obtain wide ranging experience in both marketing and executing events, logistics activities, with close collaboration with the sales team.
The position will work closely with the Regional Marketing Managers as well as the Ontario sales team, across the whole Moët Hennessy (MH) portfolio.
This position is based in the Charton Hobbs Mississauga office (ON) and will report to the Customer Marketing Director for Moët Hennessy in Canada based in Montreal (QC).
Responsibilities:
Please note that the position requires frequent evening & weekend work in addition to the normal daytime-related job functions which are both in the field and at the office. Some levels of domestic travel are also incumbent with this position.
Marketing & Event planning and execution
- Support sales team to deliver high execution standard activity with our On-Trade partners
- Support Regional Marketing Managers to bring the brands to life across all channels (retail, on-premise, owned events, partnerships)
- Develop, lead, and execute events in line with brand strategies from set up to tear down; which includes delivery and pick-ups (bottles, POSM items, etc)
Asset management and production
- Responsible for procurement (including deposits and securing raw materials/goods and services).
- Work with local Graphic Designers for artwork design and coordinate in-house printing and distribution (in coordination with the Sales Coordinator) for promotional, sales, and event materials as assigned by marketing/sales managers.
- Ensure the sales team has updated brand assets & tools for all MH brands
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all MH brand guidelines, logo usage, cropping guides, image rights verification.
POSM (point of sale material) management
- Upkeep and/or repair of branded parade tools and MH visibility items.
- Photographic cataloguing of all MH POSM items.
- Liaise with warehouse manager to track and log in/out of items.
- Coordinate POSM pick-up and delivery for various brand activations.
Reporting & Administrative tasks
- Create complete case studies of brand projects from concept deck to wrap up reports;
- Maintenance of up-to-date activations and retail programming calendars
- Assist with data collection for reporting when needed
- Manage and execute messenger/courier requests, assist team with any gifting/delivery needs
- Compile best practices and activities in the provincial monthly report
- Meeting coordination for any key meetings with internal or external stakeholders (includes booking calendar meetings and conference rooms, handling catering, booking transport, taking minutes during key meetings)
