Chief Financial Officer Jobs

Our client is a technology business that helps their clients get an edge over their competitors. They have seen over 600% growth and had over 40M visitors to their websites. They have a Canadian HQ and have expanded globally into the UK, Australia and France! They have multiple products and are founded by experts in their space. They have a complex financial ecosystem with multiple currencies and are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to lead the entire department.

About the Opportunity: CFO

• Responsible for the overall strategy and success of the financial ecosystem of all brands
• Strategically manage and advise on financial decisions and outline the impact and overall success to the business
• Responsible for championing cost optimization initiatives (taxes and FX conversion)
• Develop strategic initiatives and work closely with internal
• Integral part of advising on the risk and benefits of financial decisions, both internal and external
• Provide general financial support to all departments and teams
• Manage domestic and international company compliance
• Lead inhouse finance and accounting team
• Responsible for financial process and automation including introducing new processes, technology, and owning and enforcing company-wide financial policies
• Reporting into the Founder and CEO
• Primary stakeholder of budgets across all departments

About You:

• 10+ years of experience as a strategic finance leader
• Bachelor in Accounting or Finance degree
• A proven ability to build and grow a high-performing team
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Experience managing budgets and finances with multiple brands and currencies
• Analytical, data-driven with foresight to advise on strategic decisions and keen attention to detail
• Roll up your sleeves, get things done mentality!
• A performance track record in a high-growth or change environment
• Analytical and process-oriented mindset
• CPA or CFA designation is an asset
• Working knowledge of financial planning software
• Strong technical skills related to finance (Xero, Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
• Track record of successfully managing a complex and strategic financial ecosystem
