Job Description
StickerYou, a leading global e-commerce company specializing in custom die-cut sticker products, is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our team in Toronto, Canada. We are a smart, creative, and passionate group dedicated to delivering outstanding solutions and providing excellent customer service. As an integral part of our growing team, you will assist in closing and processing inbound sales by recommending product solutions and ensuring our customers have a great brand experience from design to delivery.


This is largely a "farming" role focused on both growing business with both individual customers and SMB's that can be done remotely but ideally we're looking for someone who lives close enough to our office in North Toronto that they could come in occasionally for team and company meetings. Responsibilities: Sales and Customer Support


  • Utilize predefined response templates for common customer issues to improve efficiency.
  • Contribute to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and account reactions.
  • Utilize product knowledge (we'll teach you) to recommend custom sticker solutions to consumer and business customers and upsell by asking relevant questions to understand customer needs.
  • Participate in product testing.
  • Identify market/customer potential by qualifying accounts.
  • Assist customers facing difficulties at any stage of the sales process on the StickerYou.com site.
  • Respond to inbound leads and support requests via email in a timely manner applying outstanding customer service practices and excellent business email etiquette.
  • Enter customer data accurately into Salesforce to track orders and leads.
  • Support marketing and organizational missions by completing related tasks as required.
  • Contribute new product and service recommendations based on customer experience with current product results and areas where customers' needs are not being filled.
  • Close sales by building rapport with potential accounts, explaining product and service capabilities, overcoming objections, and preparing contracts.
  • Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments, making initial presentations, and understanding account requirements.
  • Fulfill other tasks as requested by the Sales Manager.


Requirements


  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented while being supportive of fellow team members.
  • 3+ years of sales and customer support experience including selling to small businesses.
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime if needed.
  • Good analytical, creative, and practical problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office, familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills to handle a high volume of customer inquiries and process orders.
  • Ability to conceptualize and communicate creative solutions based on our products.
  • Ability and interest to learn about our product solutions and probe for essential customer needs.
