Job Description
We’re seeking a Marketing Specialist to provide support for our marketing projects and help share our story with both prospects and customers for our customers in the Aurora Business Unit group. In this role, you’ll coordinate and execute marketing communication projects for our software solutions including: TRIO, MSI, and Spectrum, and through various channels, including collateral and materials that you create, marketing automation platforms, sales campaigns, social media, our website, and industry tradeshows. Additionally, you’ll play a role in internal communications and employee engagement. We need a product marketing expert who can help define our strategy and then roll up their sleeves to deliver on the plan. If you’re a self-starter who’s ready to work in a fast-paced environment and excited to join a collaborative team, we want to hear from you!


In one year, you’ll know you were successful if:


  • You’ve used your excellent time management and organizational skills to deliver on deadlines and manage a challenging workload with possible conflicting priorities.
  • You’ve created compelling and engaging marketing collateral used for our website, email campaigns, and social media.
  • Stakeholders across the sales team and rest of the company trust you and are eager to support and provide resources to the Marketing department.
  • You’ve measured, analyzed, and reported on all initiatives to report on ROI.
  • You’ve helped to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan that drives brand awareness, the acquisition of net-new customers, and retention of existing customers – resulting in pipeline and revenue growth.
  • You’ve improved our marketing automation processes to drive efficiencies.
  • Key leaders rely on your recommendations when discussing pipeline building programs or existing customer communications – you’ve learned what formats, tools and activities get the best results.


A Background Like This Helps


  • 3+ years of relevant marketing experience, including a variety of marketing channels from digital to events.
  • Strong creative skillset, including graphic design with visually appealing and engaging marketing materials.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to develop high-quality marketing content across website, blogs, social media, industry articles, and web advertisements.
  • Experience with ERP software, financial or utilities software, SaaS technologies.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, HTML, Adobe Creative Suite: including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and MS Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience as an administrator of enterprise marketing automation tools, such as SharpSpring, HubSpot, etc.
