Position Scope:
We are seeking a confident, outgoing Trade Sales Consultant who is self-disciplined and enjoys a challenge. Our client provides independence and an exciting, fast paced, and fun work environment. We look for you to provide a competitive drive, outgoing nature, and the will to be the best Trade Sales Consultant in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Providing well-rounded solutions, market expertise, and partnership by understanding customer needs and developing relationships with builders, contractors, architects, professional remodelers, and trade organizations.
- Continually striving for 100% “Very Satisfied” customers.
- Helping customers grow their business and offer a single point of contact for their ongoing needs.
- Building the company brand within the trade industry
- Consistently achieving individual sales goals through our selling model throughout all product offerings.
- Proactively originating new customer relationships through networking, referrals, and face-to-face meetings.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
- Individual’s motor vehicle record must also comply with company requirements.
- Proven track record of a measurable contribution to the success of an organization.
- Ability to adhere and build a company brand.
- Ability to listen and react to customer questions and requests in a proactive manner.
- Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills.
- A proven track record of superior customer service and sales accomplishment.
- Self-starting individual with excellent time management skills.
Education and Experience:
- Valid Ontario driver’s license.
- Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with trade sales in the construction industry is an asset.
