On behalf of our client in the Government Services Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Business Analyst/Lead
Business Analyst/Lead –

• Provide a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services for clients with diverse business and technological needs
• This position requires a minimum of 3 days onsite per week at our client's location in Toronto, Ontario
• Develop strategies, prepare business cases, and conduct cost-benefit analysis and feasibility studies for business I&IT initiatives
• The successful candidate will work on a range of I&IT projects and interact with diverse business stakeholders and subject matter experts to deliver effective solutions
• The ideal candidate has strong business case and proposal writing skills, project planning and coordination experience, and excellent communication abilities
• We are seeking a senior-level Business Analyst with lead experience and government background to join our team
• Apply reengineering concepts to promote business improvements through alternative and cost-effective service delivery approaches
• Monitor progress, resolve problems, and report regularly to I&IT management and stakeholders
• Gather, document, and analyze business needs and requirements through various methods, such as JAD sessions, interviews, and mockups
• Develop performance measures and traceability matrices for business analysis evaluation and conduct follow-up

Business Analyst/Lead – Mandatory Skills

• Experience with a wide range of methods, tools, and techniques for business analysis, such as business functional modeling, business event modeling, and business process mapping
• Experience creating cost-benefit analyses and process & service measures and indicators
• Project planning and coordination experience, including tracking and reporting on deliverables across multiple projects
• Strong communication skills to prepare documentation and present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively
• Knowledge of software development life cycle, software design, development and integration, database concepts, user interface design principle, change management, quality assurance, risk management, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity planning
• Business case and proposal writing experience, including current state assessments, establishing goals, outcomes, and creating plans to achieve them
• Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards
