The Role


As a BI Analyst, you will use business domain knowledge in combination with data and analytics to deliver on key projects. This includes market/category insights, experiment design, creating dashboards, measuring business results, and analyzing customer behaviour. You will also utilize multiple analytics tools and techniques based on business requirements such as performance variance testing, A/B and multivariate testing, ROI measurement, statistical analysis, and segmentation.


The role heavily relies on proficiency in accessing data from various sources, such as relational databases, distributed data sources and third-party data capture tools. Analyzing visualization tools (e.g. Segment, Power BI, Google Analytics, Google Ads words) you'll share customized insights with business and analytics partners. You will prototype data sets used in reporting and analyses as well as design, implement, and interpret test results using common frameworks.


What You'll Do


  • Gather and interpret data, create and analyze models and information.
  • Lead analysis of requirements and solutions.
  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and help advise, influence, support, and execute our decisions.
  • Develop quantitative solutions for enhancing marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Analyze customer-level information to determine the effectiveness of strategies and generate additional profitability-enhancing strategies.
  • Develop actionable plans for the implementation of process improvements.
  • Conceive, design, and monitor campaign performance KPIs and analysis frameworks to improve business profitability.
  • Act as an internal consultant by understanding business needs, prioritizing data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions to key business partners in collaboration with other members of the people analytics team.
  • Use tools, such as SQL, Power BI, Salesforce, and Excel to drive analytics and enable client self-service on routine queries
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Product, Sales, and Operations teams by using data to surface insights, create metrics, and communicate a point of view
Your Background


  • Intermediate – Advance Excel knowledge
  • Knowledge of data visualization principles and tools like Power BI and Looker
  • Bachelor's degree of a quantitative nature (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent practical experience
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a background in data analysis or a quantitative discipline
  • Experience with Segment or other CDP tools
  • Intermediate - Advanced SQL
  • Experience with Azure or another data warehouse

  • Power BI DAC Certifications
  • Google Analytics Certification
  • Intermediate skills in python or other scripting languages (R, Linda, C++)
