Role/Job Summary: The Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for leading the analysis of business problems and developing requirements, API Product specifications, and contribution towards product design efforts. The Senior Business Systems Analyst champions and contributes to the development of analysis standards, tools, processes, and best practices. This role applies advanced knowledge to complex work and supports delivery teams by sharing skills and mentoring. This role leads the work to implement solutions to complex problems, which may be independently or through leading or supporting the collaboration with other team members and stakeholders.

The Business Systems Analyst will be performing the major functions listed below. The position may require additional duties/responsibilities that may not be outlined below, and specific functions are subject to change.

• Initiate a review of understood requirements prior to solution design with stakeholders
• Conduct a review of completed work to ensure requirements have been met.
• Lead story grooming and story pointing with the development team
• Document acceptance criteria for each story
• Document all Q&A that need to be addressed to understand the integration requirements
• Contribute to the creation of OpenAPI specs and JDL files
• Create southbound orchestration specs
• Create data mapping documents between API and front-end/back end
• Create development stories and tasks
