Senior PeopleSoft Systems Business Analyst | Remote | Contract Opportunity*

Hiring a Senior PeopleSoft Systems Business Analyst for a premium client of ours.
Functional Accountabilities
What we need is a strong system analyst, who has strong technical skills – specifically being able to write data extract sql queries and with knowledge of the HR – Benefit – payroll PeopleSoft tables. The candidate should have many years of expertise with PeopleSoft V9.2 and have done several mandates that show a high proficiency level in HR, Benefits, and Payroll processes. The person should also show experience in creating Business Requirement Documents and developing Test Scripts, Test Cases, and in the use of beyond compare, etc…in the validation of results.
Very experienced in HR processes. Knowledge of AC customization an asset. The milestone deliverable dates have been established and the contract is for the duration of the project; – one year. Need to drill down the milestone deliverables (technical and functional) to a task-oriented plan and ensure dates are met. Will need to represent the project on weekly status call.
Scope:
- Prepare and execute test plan and document results. Obtain signoff and transfer of function with the business clients.
- Work closely with clients to analyze the impacts of the benefit consolidation project; which will change processes, benefit set up and provider. Will need to document and support communication between relevant groups and stakeholders, and capture requirements needed to initiate the change.
- Perform business analysis, develop solutions and recommendations.
- Serve as the strategic interface with assigned business units or functional area for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management etc.
- Conduct requirement and systems analysis and translate business requirements and document the overall solution.
Years of Experience Required
•10+ years of IT technology, operations, and people leadership experience in a large company. Experience with PeopleSoft.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Some Project Management skills an asset
- Experience with SQL, Database an asset
- Excellent testing planning – execution – documentation
- Experience on multiple projects with PeopleSoft HRIS system V92, with focus on the HR and Benefits (including BenAdmin) applications.
- Excellent technical skills, inquisitive with the ability to multitask effectively and meet deadlines.
