Business Analyst - Hr Service Delivery

Description

Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to support an HR service delivery project for a 3 month contract. .

Reporting to the Director, Business Transformation, your responsibilities will include:

• Meet with staff and senior leadership to prepare materials and gain clarity after sessions
• Support setup, co-ordination & facilitation of current state business process mapping workshops & strategy development sessions
• Perform deep dive data analysis of HR statistics & other key metrics (e.g., staff inquiries, turnaround times, etc.)
• Lead & be responsible for all documentation and quality assurance of process maps, session materials, and strategy for quick wins, longer term wins and modernization roadmaps as it relates to the HR service delivery model focus areas
• Capture the essence of recommendations both written and visually and seek clarity of how it will impact and benefit customer & staff experiences with HR services
• Update weekly project dashboard & reports and perform other project management support related duties
• Undertake risk and internal controls assessment and provide recommendations to address key risks and mitigate any gaps in internal controls
• Contribute to evolvement of solutions/ideation by providing an objective/neutral lens supported by evidence-based root cause analysis

Requirements

To be considered for this contract engagement, you are a designated accounting professional (CPA or equivalent), with 5+ years of solid work experience within a large, complex & unionized organization.

In Addition, The Following Skills And Experience Are Desired

• PowerPoint experience and creating visuals for complex concepts
• Modernization mindset as well as curious and can challenge the status quo
• Ethical approach to work & confidentiality due to high level of sensitivity of topics and information
• Advanced Excel skills
• Visio experience is a must
• Experience with reviewing, documenting and improving business processes and system improvements
• Excellent organizational skills
• Openminded and willing to listen to others as well as provide recommendations for business process improvements
• Recent experience with modernizing how HR services are delivered (e.g. new business tool adaption, assessing digital solutions, RPAs, chat box etc.) in an HR service delivery model
• Change management experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Facilitation & negotiation skills
• Quick learner and adaptable & flexible to change in plans and approaches
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
