Business Systems Analyst (#3921) Jobs

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to help our client analyze, implement and support their Project Management Information System (PMIS). The successful candidate will assist with the PMIS pilot rollout, provide planning expertise for the subsequent PMIS corporate implementation and support other existing construction management solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide PMIS project management support.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment by information sharing and team cooperation.
• Support the planning phase of the PMIS corporate implementation.
• Present proposed PMIS solutions to stakeholders.
• Support and administer existing Azure DevOps application.
• Provide technical expertise for possible PMIS integrations.
• Work with PMIS application development teams to develop and implement appropriate technical solutions based on business requirements.
• Gather, analyze, and document PMIS business and integration requirements.
• Help implement and configure the PMIS software system.
• Support and administer existing construction management software including Primavera P6 and Acumen Suite.
• Act as project manager when applicable on PMIS-related projects.
• Create PMIS related deliverables including process flows, business requirements document, high-level design documents, test plans, reports, and dashboards.
• Help clients and other stakeholders with PMIS change management in work processes.
• Facilitate problem solving discussions and general communications between PMIS business and technical teams.
• Ensure that PMIS technical solutions will meet the client’s business requirements.
• Work with PMIS clients to provide input into business cases, feasibility studies, and workflow analysis.

Requirements:

• Ability to be flexible and highly adaptive in a fast-paced environment.
• 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis and systems planning.
• Thorough knowledge of problem definition and analysis related to business processes and systems planning.
• Knowledge of cloud computing, SaaS solutions and workflow technology.
• Proven experience in software testing and test plan development.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and project management principles.
• Considerable knowledge of project management.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of the business processes (Project Delivery, Liquid Waste Services, Water Services) as they pertain to PMIS configuration and best practices.
• Considerable knowledge of information technology components, processes, and application development life cycle.
• Ability to document, analyze and assess information from various sources, identify priorities and resources and propose alternative business processes.
• Experience with system integration and data migration.
• Expertise in PMIS functionality, configuration, application architecture, and best practices.

• Maintain confidentiality
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal contacts
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Provide advice and assistance on matters related to the work
