Job Description

Aston Carter's large public client in the machinery distribution industry is seeking a Financial Business Systems Analyst to begin on a 3 month contract. This role is reporting to the Director of Financial Operations and has the potential to extend or go permanent based on performance and business needs.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience within systems/business analytics within the accounting/finance modules.

Duties:

  • 5 different projects that the contractor will be working on, starting from pretty simple, working their way up to advanced
  • Building automated reporting/dashboards for the Financial Operations team
  • Building reporting inside Tableau
  • Mentoring/coaching other Financial Business Systems Analysts
  • Understanding and integrating data with Tableau
  • Data building


Qualifications:

  • Working experience with SQL
  • 3 - 5+ years of Business Analyst experience (building out automated processes/reporting, utilizing Tableau, SQL, project work, data building, integrating data with Tableau)
  • Working experience with Tableau
  • Advanced Excel


Nice to Haves:

  • Python Programming
