Barrick Finance Solutions Manager

Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Finance Solutions Manager. This position will be located in South Africa and will have the ability of remote work. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the various finance applications, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA. Working with the finance teams, external consultants, and the application support team, you will help identify improvement projects, drive their implementation, and manage change control.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the application support team, monitor trends SAP finance in Service Now to ensure appropriate risk ratings and analyze the root cause of issues to identify improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA reporting by working with super users to implement improvements, train the trainer delivery, and drive super user adoption.
• Contribute to the maintenance of SAP S/4HANA system documentation, including procedures, user guides, and training materials.
• Contribute to the implementation of improvement projects. Work closely with the business users, the application support team, and external consultants to gather business requirements, understand technical solutioning, and management testing and roll-out.
• Assist with the design of security profiles by working with finance super users and the application support team.
• Contribute to strategy and execution of continuous training
• Working with external consultants, contribute to the change control process. Assist with testing plans and prepare for and support the approval processes.
• Provide regular reports and updates on the performance of SAP S/4HANA Finance systems and improvement projects.
• Liaise with super user group and external consultants and conduct regular system health checks
• Lead change management efforts related to SAP S/4HANA Finance systems, including developing communication plans, training plans, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Monitor the health of the super user model and identify areas for improvement, including identifying gaps in user training or documentation.
• Work with the finance teams to identify and prioritize improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and drive solution building.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the mining sector is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, including transactional experience.
• Knowledge of OneStream or Xeras is a plus.
• Ability to lead change management efforts and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a collaborative team player with a flexible "can do" attitude.
