We’re Hiring!
Are you the ultimate office superhero? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your attention to detail and multi-tasking skills are put to the test? If so, we need you! We are seeking an Administrative Manager at Brighter Community Planning and Consulting (BCP) to be the glue that holds our bustling office together.
In this role, you'll be the right-hand person to our owner, providing proactive support to ensure smooth operations and outstanding client service. You'll need above-average Microsoft skills in Word and Excel, and a knack for paying attention to detail. (The successful candidate will pass an in-house skill test for Word and Excel.) We would love you to have experience with Adobe Creative Suite products too, but it’s not essential.
Previous experience or education in invoicing, and basic booking is required.Having experience working with municipal governments would also be an asset.
BCP is an established locally owned and operated company situated in the heart of downtown Windsor, NS, but our clientele is widespread throughout the Maritimes and Nunavut. We value different perspectives, so new Canadians or other equity-seeking groups are encouraged to apply. New graduates are also welcome to apply.
BCP is woman-owned and family-oriented (which includes a dog-friendly workplace). But we're not all business - we're looking for someone who also enjoys being in a fun, casual and dynamic environment. We get excited about our work!
If you're up for the challenge, you'll be rewarded with a competitive salary of $20-25 per hour (plus bonuses where applicable), medical and dental benefits, and the chance to continue with us beyond the initial 8-month term.Plus, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you're the go-to person for making everything run like a well-oiled machine.
This position is primarily office-based, Monday – Friday, but there will be some community-based meetings and travel required. We are open to occasional remote work, but you need to be in our office more often than not. We are open to part time or full-time hours, and we can be flexible with your schedule. We believe in offering opportunities for you to live your life, but we will need a commitment of at least 20 hours a week with a preference for 35 hours/week.
So, if you're ready to take on the challenge of being our office superhero, apply now!
