Our banking Client in Toronto, ON is looking for a Administrative Assistant – Advanced
Department: Cash & Payment Operations
What are the hours of work? 8:30 am– 5:00pm – with 1 hour lunch break

Describe your department: The team currently contains seven staff. The team is great at providing support to each other especially when there are knowledge gaps or staff away on vacations. This is a fast paced environment due to the volumes we experience.
Daily Responsibilities:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
OPERATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS
-Executes operating procedures that ensure the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all processes.
-Contributes to environment of continuous improvement that assesses workflow, processes and procedures on an ongoing basis, ensuring maximum efficiency and quality within the department.
-Achieves preset targets measuring service quality & effectiveness against appropriate benchmarks.
-Continuously identify opportunities to enhance our service and value proposition for our clients.
RISK MANAGEMENT
-Follows preset procedures ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements as well as corporate audit and risk management requirements.
-Contributes to satisfactory results in all internal & external audits.
-Undertakes ongoing training & development of staff on operating procedures & regulatory requirements.
-Ensure appropriate liaison with Risk and Control area within Operations
Ensure all suspense accounts are current and up-to-date
Project Name
Data entry into multiple systems
Responsible for the execution of all activities related to cash processing and reconciliation operations in themarket for all client segments
Must-have Skills
-Strong computer skills
-Accurate Data Entry Skills
-Soundknowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
-Client service management
-Pertinent industry and regulatory/compliance knowledge
Nice-to-have Skills
-Degree educated or equivalent would be preferred but not essential
-Technical knowledge in Global Payments practices
-Technical knowledge in different investment instrument types
-Technical knowledge in SWIFT Message Types
