Account Coordinator (Canada) Jobs

Kate Somerville is looking for an Account Coordinator (Vancouver) to provide administrative support and coordination for the team-level work processes of the Sales and Education team. The candidate will assist in deploying category selling strategies and priorities to team through effective team communications and administrative support. This is a field sales role and requires to be in store from Tuesday to Saturday.

Role preferably to be based out of Canada (Vancouver)

Primary Responsibilities

• Understand and execute the territory plan and promotional calendar within all accounts.
• Support Director on coordinating field visits.
• Regularly communicate with manager on territory needs, notable happenings, and competitive sales trends
• Develop and nurture relationships with account personnel.
• Maintain superior knowledge of brand and product information.
• Maintain a schedule of 100% demand generation (selling) in stores, Tuesday – Saturday.
• Exemplify highest standard of sales and customer service skills.
• Assist each account with inventory management assessing and communicating areas of opportunity with manager.
• Review VM renderings and ensure flawless execution in stores.
• Collaborate with manager to ensure sales targets are met and exceeded.
• Adhere to corporate policies and deadlines in a timely, concise manner.

Required Qualifications

• Physical requirements include:
• Able to work evenings and weekends, including some overnight travel
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build positive business partnerships
• Ability to drive distances up to 3-4 hours
• Proficiency in Microsoft™ Office programs
• 1-3 years in Retail Account Management preferred or 3 years equivalent experience in Cosmetic/Aesthetic/Beauty industry
• Excellent communication & presentation skills — verbal, non-verbal and written
• Stand for minimum of 5 hours time in stores/events
• Proven ability to drive sales and provide excellent customer service
• Strong attention to detail and organizational/time management skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Lift up to 25 lbs for product samples/event kits

The expected base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $70,000 (USD). The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.

This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
