Volunteer: Event Coordinator (Remote/Unpaid Volunteer)

Empowered Futures is a non-profit organization supporting emerging adults as they transition into adulthood. Our organization offers self-empowerment workshops and business mentorships. We aim to inspire and promote mental well-being in individuals ages 18-29.

We are seeking a Volunteer Event Coordinator to join Empowered Futures, an innovative Non-Profit organization dedicated to combating the rising rates of depression among young adults (ages 18 to 28). Our mission is to empower individuals through self-empowerment, business mentorship, and support, fostering confident, emotionally intelligent, and resourceful adults. With our unwavering commitment to integrity, goal setting, and responsibility, we aim to inspire hope and prevent suicide by harnessing collective efforts to promote mental health and well-being.

This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to utilize your skills and contribute to making a significant impact on individuals' lives.

The Volunteer Event Coordinator will be responsible for the following

• Plan and coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and volunteer management.
• Recruit and train volunteers to assist with event execution.
• Develop event timelines, budgets, and marketing plans.
• Evaluate the success of events and make recommendations for improvements.
• Ensure that events run smoothly and address any issues that arise.

Qualifications

• Ability to work collaboratively with volunteers, vendors, and staff members.
• Experience in event planning and coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
