Reporting to the Director of Procurement, the Vendor and Contract Management Specialist will be responsible for managing vendor relationships and contracts to ensure that they meet the company's requirements. This individual will work closely with vendors, internal stakeholders, and legal to ensure that contracts are negotiated, executed, and managed effectively.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders on vendor and contract-related matters
• Collaborating with legal to ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies.
• Negotiating and drafting contracts with vendors, including but not limited to, master services agreements, statements of work, and non-disclosure agreements.
• Conducting vendor assessments and developing supplier strategies to support business objectives.
• Developing and implementing vendor performance metrics and tracking vendor performance against those metrics
• Managing vendor relationships and ensuring that vendors are meeting their contractual obligations.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of vendor contracts and relationships

Position Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in vendor and contract management
• Able to provide a Vulnerable Sector Screening check with a “Clear” or satisfactory result that meets the operational requirements of the Agency
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software
• MUST be fully vaccinated two (2) doses against COVID-19 with a vaccine that has been approved for use in Canada
• Knowledge of contract law and procurement best practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Must be qualified to work in Canada legally for the employer
