One of our government clients is looking for a Vendor/Contract Management Governance Specialist
Length: 12-month contract (4-month renewal) with the possibility of extension
Location: Yonge and York Mills – Hybrid (3 days in the office and 2 days from home)

Reporting Authority: Director, Relationship Management Governance
ROLE MANDATE:
The Relationship Management Governance Specialist is responsible for operational execution of the Service Provider Management and Governance frameworks for our client’s Relationship Management. The Governance Specialist will develop strong collaborative client relations, while leveraging their expert knowledge of our client and their business units.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, but not limited to:
·Plan, prepare and coordinate all aspects of governance meetings ensuring key stakeholders have agreed to and are prepared to discuss agenda topics, required documentation is available, and meeting minutes/artifacts are disseminated to internal and external stakeholders
·Ability to critically analyze discussions with our stakeholders and determine appropriate level of documentation to meet Governance standards, contractual, regulatory (FIPA), and stakeholder requirements
·Execute and monitor the Service Provider Management and Governance operational framework ensuring consistent execution of process, policy, and tools for key activities such as obligations, contract changes, issues/disputes, escalations while identifying potential impacts to the Relationship Management team
·Develop and disseminate governance reporting to alert the management of trends, potential issues, and progress of governance items
·Develop and maintain consolidate view of action logs and work closely with Governance chairs and Relationship Management Teams to monitor and influence progress
·Facilitate and support cross bundle contract analysis and amendment execution by partnering with key stakeholders including contract owners, SME’s, and legal
·Support the design of operational policy, processes, and procedures for our client by partnering with stakeholders and acting as SME
·Measure and monitor action plans to resolve under-performance or compliance to programs / policies
·Provide advice and make recommendations to navigate appropriate governance paths (internal and external) to senior leaders to resolve strategic Service Provider or management issues and mitigate risk
·Monitor effectiveness of process and technology to make recommendations for improvements
·Support and implement continuous improvement and change management activities as directed
·Lead and facilitate Obligation logs and RACI development, Delivery Acceptance Criteria documents, and Audits across bundles in a centralized and consistent approach
·Lead problem solving initiatives as directed working closely with business partners across the organization

INTERNAL
·LBG Division, Relationship Management Leadership and Teams
·All internal stakeholders including key areas such as legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, IT, Audit, and LBG division
EXTERNAL
·Service Providers, 3rd Party Contractors
KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION:
·Professional designation or degree in business or a related field or equivalent experience
·Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience working Governance and Governance Systems with knowledge of Contract Management Principles
·Minimum 3 years in a business analysis role or vendor management role
·knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC/DMADV)
·Knowledge of project management principles
EXPERIENCE:
·Understanding of legal documentation and contract analysis and interpretation
·Experience with contract management database tools typically used in managing contracts
·Proven ability to analyze and interpret high volumes of complex information and derive appropriate and relevant insights
·Analytical and value analysis skills required to engage in the identification of cost saving initiatives, business requirements and mitigate risk
·Project management skills with experience leading projects/initiatives
·Communication skills and an ability to provide information to all levels of management
·This role requires a general understanding of Gaming Operations and Operator Services Agreement and Policies and AGCO’s Registrar’s Standards
