Technical Sales/Sales Support - Architectural Metals

As a Technical Sales/Sales Support, you will support the clients' requests regarding Custom-designed pre-fabricated architectural metal products needs which include transit and bicycle shelters, kiosks and signage for clients such as municipalities, ad agencies and general contractors, you will prepare/submit written quotation/RFPsm and enter orders in the ERP System. The position includes a base salary of $73,000 - $82,000.

THE LOCATION

• This is primarily a work-from-office, Inside Sales position.
• The Head Office and manufacturing plant in Etobicoke, ON Canada

TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES

• Enters orders in the ERP order processing system
• Prepares and submits written quotations/RFPs using standard or modified quote templates, including technical specifications, delivery, and warranty terms (MS Word or Excel)
• Review contracts and purchase orders
• Keeps the quote register up-to-date
• Responding to incoming inquiries (email and telephone) from clients
• Handles product supply, service, installation and all parts inquiries

Preferred Experience & Background

• Minimum of 3 Years of RFPs experience
• Must have working experience within Custom Manufacturing with Metal, Steel, Signage Structure, Architectural and other related industry
• Must have a solid technical understanding and be able to read architectural or construction plans and technical specifications

EDUCATION

• Post-secondary or professional experience equivalent
• Mechanical, Architectural or Engineering Degree is an asset.
