Job Description
BRC is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our extraordinary and growing team as an Admin and Inside Sales Coordinator. THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Admin & Inside Sales Coordinator will primarily be responsible for maximizing sales and customer satisfaction by managing all requests for quotes. The successful candidate will use their interior design skills to review and analyze quote requests, gather necessary information from Customers and internal stakeholders, assign quotes to the Quoting team, ensure all completed quotes are sent to the Customer, and track and report all department metrics. What You Will Do:
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with our customers.
  • Contact the Customer to gather project information, specifications, and requirements.
  • Take initiatives to develop, maintain and implement excel worksheets.
  • Acquire an understanding and working knowledge of products and liaise with Account Executives and internal teams including order entry, project coordinators, marketing, etc.
  • Participate in the development and/or implementation of departmental policies.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to lead or assist in RFP responses.
  • Maximize sales and Customer satisfaction through effective communication and collaboration with Customers.
  • Educate customers about features and benefits of products to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the Main point of contact and coordinate all incoming inquiries.
  • Develop and recommend typical layouts for client projects and bids.
  • Join department meetings with principals to discuss strategy & support.
  • Support and help with project pricing.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of BRC’s offerings and product lines to competently facilitate the quote request process and assign jobs to Quoters as necessary.
  • Administrative tasks as required.
  • Participate in product training sessions to be able to provide technical support to the department.
  • Keep abreast of new furniture trends from key designers.
  • Review and sign off on quotations reporting all discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain tracking mechanisms to monitor and manage the department.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
We are seeking passionate candidates who possess the following experience and competencies:
  • Excellent computer skills including advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver tight deadlines.
  • Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly and to ensure they are clearly communicated to an audience.
  • High attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Ability to work well with others and take direction and criticism in a positive manner.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Robust knowledge of space planning including AutoCad, Project Spec, Visual Impressions, or other similar programming
  • Is a problem solver with the ability to work independently as well as in a group setting.
  • 4 years’ experience with design or inside sales functions in commercial furniture manufacturing or related industries
