Team Lead, Infrastructure Planning

What You Will Do

The Team Lead of Infrastructure Planning is a solution and a proactive orientated individual who is a learner and prides themselves on delivering exceptional results through the timely management and quality delivery of Infrastructure plans supporting CTR and Party City Warehouse, Automotive Service, Garden Centre areas while developing and enhancing net new processes, guides and materials through the active collaboration with key cross functional teams, Associate Dealers, Fixture vendors and Equipment providers

• Onboarding of new Planners with training on end-to-end planning processes, access to resources, AutoCAD, network access and requisite hardware/software
• Lead a team of Infrastructure Planners to deliver the timely and quality production and analysis of Infrastructure Warehouse, Automotive Service, Garden Centre and Party City project store and ad hoc store plans.
• Prepare, attend, and actively participate in project store hand off meetings weekly floor plan reviews with fixture vendors and warehouse installation kick off meetings while documenting key information for future reference.
• Create and manage the end-to-end Infrastructure equipment, quoting sourcing and ordering process for Auto Equipment, Compactors, Conveyors, Material Lifts and Reach Trucks which layers in administrative forms and paperwork requirements between Dealer and Vendor to purchase and commission equipment across Warehouse, Automotive Service, Garden Centre, and Party City areas.
• Become the first line of escalation when questions arise from store specific project store challenges, manage the escalation process effectively resolving issues of low-medium complexity and escalating issues of higher concern with solution options.
• Lead, create and manage end to end the infrastructure fixture vendor engagement processes which layer project pipeline awareness, project store reviews, pre booking, quoting, production and delivery of warehouse across Warehouse, Automotive Service, Garden Centre, and Party City
• Lead the creation and maintenance of new Infrastructure end to end project store planning processes within inclusion of key cross functional teams and Associate Dealer
• Support current and develop future concept prototypical plans within Warehouse, Automotive Service, Garden Centre, and Party City complete with analysis and active cross functional teams, fixture and equipment vendor collaboration.
• Assist when required AutoCAD planning in support of Warehouse, Automotive Service, Garden Centre and Party City store and proto prototypical planning projects.

What You Bring

• In depth proven experience in project management and process improvement
• University degree or college diploma required.
• Proven leadership experience, proven ability to manage a team of direct or indirect reports in a fast paced and diverse environment.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint is critical (Access and asset), and AutCad experience
• Bilingual English/French an asset
• Minimum 5+ years progressive retail acumen, primarily Canadian Tire Retail (Logistics and or Store Operations)
