About Securian Canada
- Analysis. You will identify market and pipeline insights to provide strategic advisory to hiring managers, optimize talent strategies to engage the best candidates and ensure efficient talent searches.
- Collaboration. You will build and nurture trusting relationships with hiring managers across the organization to understand their needs and support them throughout the recruitment process, providing expert advice and recommending the next steps with candidates.
- Full-cycle recruitment. You will manage talent acquisition from intake session with hiring managers to offer negotiation and onboarding with the candidate. You will network and source talent proactively, knowing where to find best talent, leveraging multiple attraction sources and platforms.
- DEIB championship. You will prioritize engaging and attracting diverse candidate backgrounds to strengthen candidate pools. You will create structured interview guides to support hiring managers, incorporating best practices to mitigate bias.
- Candidate experience. You are passionate about keeping lasting relationships with best talent and growing your network. You will conduct phone and video interviews with candidates to evaluate their qualifications, maintaining open communication and providing timely feedback to our candidates.
- The education and experience. You have a background in Talent Acquisition and/or Human Resources, including in-depth experience in full-cycle recruitment in a corporate and/or an agency setting. Previous experience recruiting for Finance, Insurance or Technical roles preferred. You have expertise in building talent attraction and sourcing strategies, leveraging social media platforms to drive recruitment efforts. You are a passionate DEIB champion who can educate and support hiring managers in recognizing and eliminating bias and barriers in talent acquisition.
