Job Profile:


As a Talent Acquisition Manager at Banyan, you will play a critical role in shaping our organization's success by attracting, selecting, and hiring top-tier talent. Your primary responsibility will be to design and execute effective recruitment strategies that align with the company's growth objectives and attract the best talent in the market. You will work closely with department managers and senior leadership to understand their hiring needs, develop sourcing strategies, and build a robust talent pipeline.


Location:


This job is based out of our downtown Toronto office and is a hybrid role. You will be expected to come into the office at least 2 days a week and have the option of working from home for the remainder.


What You’ll Do:


  • Implement a more robust ATS and maintain metrics and reporting systems to track recruitment effectiveness, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and hiring success rate.
  • Proactively source and attract top-tier talent, primarily through outbound methods.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors, as needed, to support the talent acquisition efforts.
  • Act as an advocate and a coach to our Operating Company CEOs on recruitment best practices and standards, ensuring measures are in place to monitor effectiveness and course correct where needed.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to enhance employer branding, employee value proposition, and recruitment marketing initiatives.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offer acceptance while ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both your internal stakeholder and the candidate.


Qualifications for Success:


  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably with experience in high growth software businesses and/or a recruitment agency environment.
  • Strong organization, negotiation and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches and stakeholder relationships.
  • Passion and dedication to establishing an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
