Conduct in-depth intake meetings with hiring managers to understand role requirements, discuss sourcing strategies, and confirm screening and assessment criteria;

Build constructive working relationships and provide trusted guidance to hiring managers.

Liaise with the Total Rewards team to determine the appropriate compensation for offers;

Create a seamless and positive candidate experience with timely and effective communication throughout each phase;

Facilitate the delivery of training programs for hiring managers (e.g., interviewing processes and techniques, Workday recruitment module);

Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering in an end-to-end talent acquisition process;

· Builds knowledge of key requirements and develops sourcing strategies to ensure strong candidate flow.

· May guide and facilitate the hiring manager and team to a successful hire.

Job Title: Talent Acquisition Recruiter

Duration: 12 Months (with possibility of extension and/or conversion)

Work hours: 7.5 daily / 37.5 weekly

· This position is responsible for assisting with the full cycle recruitment under direction from others.

Coordinate and represent the Executive and Medical Staff Recruitment team and attend events such as career fairs and on-campus recruiting.

Support the development, evaluation and improvement of recruitment practices and services. Work collaboratively on corporate recruitment initiatives.

Provide support to team in the auditing, tracking and submitting of relocation expenses for new hires.

Provide support and training on departmental databases and related Recruitment technologies to the Team and clients as required.

Support the Recruitment Programs Manager in projects and initiatives including data updates, reporting, and DEI

One (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience in a recruitment environment

Previous experience with campus recruitment would be beneficial

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide exceptional client service

Strong organizational skills required to prioritize multiple requests in a changing environment

Experience working within a Property Acquisition, Procurement or Lettings position

Completion of university degree in social sciences or business or equivalent combination of experience & education

Specialized training in Talent Acquistion, workforce planning, change management, organization design, culture change is an advantage.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are required to manage interview schedules, research recruitment sources, understand advertising requirements, conduct research

Completion of a diploma in Human Resources, Business, Management or equivalent, plus 1+ year of progressive related experience

Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered.

Facilitate pre-hire activities, including educational verification and background checks

Develop training tools for Oracle recruitment users (Recruiters, HR, hiring managers)

Compile data for talent acquisition reporting, create and manage recruitment dashboards/metrics

Assesses applicants via on-line profiles, resumes or interviews; assesses skills, experience and competencies to best match employment opportunities within Fraser Health.

Interviews, pre-screens, checks references and discusses applicants with managers to determine the best fit.

Demonstrated ability to interview individuals to ascertain skill level.

Sound Internet experience with a variety of employment resources.

Completes a variety of recruitment, employment and immigration documents to assist in the hiring of foreign applicants.

Provides assistance to other Recruitment Services employees on processes and applicant assessments.

Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple tasks at once while easily changing priorities when necessary.

Managing the full-cycle recruitment process from interview to job offer/negotiations.

Provide excellent client/candidate experience and encourage repetitive business.

Providing market knowledge and advice to employers.

Post-secondary education, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing or Human Resources.

1-2 years experience in recruitment and selection. Previous experience with a recruitment agency in North America is preferred.

Deliver an excellent candidate experience to all applicants at every step in the interview process;

Excellent verbal and written communication, especially listening skills;

Previous experience managing a recruitment workflow using an Applicant Tracking System will be considered an asset.
