TheSocial Coordinatoris an important member of a broader Socialteam, which pursues and activates on social media platforms againstmeaningful insights with the goal of driving measurable results.Social Coordinators receive in-depth training and continue theirprofessional development by gaining experience and skills via on-thejob experience. The Social Coordinators key skills-set includesanalytical skills, math proficiency, demonstrated creative thinking,and great attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and organization of supportive data forSocial Media plans and recommendations
- May often communicate with local clients regarding tactical aspectsof the social media plans and to assist in facilitating information andanswering questions
- Assist with media research and day-to-day communication withcreative account team members as appropriate
- Update competitive media reports and technical support forpresentation materials
- Assist with billing process including a more automated process forFacebook
- Responsible for updating blocking charts, budgets, and budgetsummaries where required
- Assist the Social Specialist and Social Supervisors in managing andexecuting approved Social Media plans
- Responsible for inputting Social Media buys and managing anydiscrepancy reconciliations including actualizing media spending
- Manage contracts/insertion orders and any resulting revisions withmedia vendors where a managed service is contracts
- Detail-oriented and able to produce accurate work product
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solvingabilities
- Track record of success throughout post-secondary careerand previous employment
- Bachelor's degree; degree or concentration in advertising,marketing, business administration, and communicationspreferred
- Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities andmath proficiency
- Technical proficiency, particularly with Excel, Word andPowerPoint
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work successfully with teams, handling multipleprojects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
