Fort Garry Industries has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team at our corporate office in Winnipeg.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the ongoing marketing activities that support company objectives. The incumbent is a creative, self-motivated go-getter with a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain Google Business Listings and FGI website to keep hours and services.
• Maintain social media and email marketing metrics, following up on social media posts, email marketing results, track following and engagement throughout each year.
• Manage social media including maintaining social media calendar, content research, content creation, and scheduling posts for FGI social media such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.
• Support vendor training by updating and developing a new vendor training process, maintaining training library, scheduling in-person and/or online training, tracking and collecting attendance
• Support online FGI Branded merchandise store by organizing biannual uniform distribution, collecting sizing from branches to process uniform order for new and or existing staff along with day-to-day requests.
• Oversee digital advertising including scheduling and executing digital advertising for Facebook, Instagram, and Google Tracking budget for yearly spend.
• Manage email marketing campaigns including content creation, image gathering, mail list management, general campaigns to increase signups etc. (Ensure emails are sent on a monthly, weekly, and as needed basis.)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing/communications combined with several years experience in digital marketing, traditional marketing, content creation, creative writing.
• Understanding of Facebook Ads, Ads Manager, Google AdWords and Google Analytics
• Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior.
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe CC, and WordPress
• SharePoint experience an asset.
• Photography and video experience an asset
• Demonstrated experience maintaining business social media platforms and email marketing platforms.
